Our front mount crossmember allows a simple and at the same time extremely stable mounting of a Porsche-transmission into VW Bugs with IRS. The crossmember is bolted against the IRS brackets from below. Only two holes have to be drilled into the brackets.

Because of a strong ripping at the underside, very big torques can be picked up. Lateral twisting as well as the up and down of the transmission when accelerated is almost fully excluded by our front mount traverse. The crossmember is aluminium casted and additionally heat-treated. The screw joint matches our nose cones. The rubber-metal blocks are manufactured after our specifications and pick up strengths in both directions along the middle axle. Nerving vibrations are kept away from the chassis. We could have made it easier for ourselves if we had used “Silent blocks", but that was not in line to our conception. The Feedback of our customers about this product strengthened us in this decision...
